Chessify is a chess opening training tool. By using our service, you agree to these simple, straightforward terms.
What Chessify Does
Chessify helps you practice chess openings by:
- Allowing you to import and store PGN files locally on your device
- Providing training sessions to test your opening knowledge
- Tracking your training progress and statistics
- Optionally syncing your data across devices if you create an account
Your Content
You retain full ownership of any PGN files and opening repertoires you upload. We don't claim any rights over your chess content.
Your data is stored locally on your device by default. If you choose to create an account and enable sync, your data is also stored on our servers to provide the sync functionality.
Acceptable Use
Please use Chessify for its intended purpose: training chess openings. Don't:
- Attempt to disrupt or overload our services
- Use automated tools to abuse the service
- Share your account credentials with others
Service Availability
Chessify is designed to work offline, so most features are always available. For online features like cloud sync, we aim for high availability but can't guarantee 100% uptime.
We may update or modify the service from time to time to improve functionality.
Paid Features
Some features require a subscription. Subscriptions are billed according to the plan you choose. You can cancel anytime, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have concerns.
Disclaimer
Chessify is provided "as is" without warranties. While we strive to provide a reliable service, we're not responsible for any losses resulting from using Chessify, including lost training data if you don't maintain backups.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of Chessify after changes means you accept the new terms.
